I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues, providing services that span from therapy for depression and grief counseling to parental support, couples counseling and clinical supervision.

At its core, therapy is based on individual people seeking change. That’s why I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy that’s transparent, open, and supportive. On this journey, you ultimately choose how quickly or slowly we progress and I will be beside you along the way, making observations and providing encouragement and as needed. Supportive, however, does not mean the absence of challenge. You will find that I can be gently challenging when sharing my authentic observations and thoughts with you, even if they may be difficult to hear.

Amazing relationships are grown. They are a combination of mutual respect, open lines of communication and constant cultivation. As your therapist, my role is to ensure each person is open and honest about their thoughts and feelings related to therapy and beyond. I take an active part in nurturing your relationship by inquiring about your individual and collective thoughts, focusing on your feelings and helping you identify the best way to grow together. To accelerate your growth beyond our sessions, I provide exercises and tools you should use outside of sessions to foster a deeper connection.

All families encounter trying times and transitions, and no matter how large or small, they can be difficult to handle. Some families seek therapy when there is a conflict or issue they would like to resolve. Others seek therapy as a preventive measure to address upcoming transitions like divorce, death, or illness. As your family therapist, I can help your family navigate these challenging times in a healthy way. Together, we’ll establish your goals as a family and work on a plan to achieve them. It takes work, and sometimes uncomfortable conversations and situations, but it’s a wonderful opportunity to grow your love.

Clinical Supervision
As a clinical supervisor-in-training, I am committed to fostering strong self-awareness and self-care practices that will help you further your practice. If you are working towards full licensure as a marriage and family therapist (LMFT), I provide board approved supervision to assist you in satisfying your board requirements. One advantage of clinical supervision is the confidential space it allows for support and accountability that's separate from the daily demands of your workplace. Clinical supervision also helps establish the healthy practice of nurturing professional development outside of work. Individual and group supervision sessions allow clinicians to gain deeper insight into their practice and receive constructive feedback that will strengthen services offered. |
